Sunraycer Renewables Closes $901 Million Project Financing Facility with MUFG Bank, Ltd., Ally Bank, Nomura Securities International, Inc., Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale, and Societe Generale

Annapolis, MD – Sunraycer Renewables LLC announced the closing of a $901 million project financing facility with MUFG, Ally Bank, Nomura, Nord/LB, and Societe Generale. Comprised of a construction-to-term loan, bridge loan, and letter of credit facility, proceeds will fund the Eagle Springs, Lupinus 1, and Lupinus 2 solar and battery storage projects in Texas — totaling 479.5 MWac of solar and 236.5 MWac of paired two-hour battery energy storage. This marks Sunraycer's second portfolio financing in 12 months, bringing total capital raised to roughly $1.6 billion.

The agreements will support construction and operation of approximately 400 MWac of PV capacity in Franklin County, Texas.

Sunraycer Renewables Executes Revenue Swap Agreements with ENGIE Energy Marketing North America for Texas Battery Storage Projects

Agreements support construction and operation of Midpoint and Gaia BESS projects with a combined capacity of 125 MWac / 250 MWh, delivering clean energy and ancillary services to the ERCOT grid. Midpoint, near Blum, Texas, will provide 50 MWac / 100 MWh, while Gaia, near Kerens, Texas, will contribute 75 MWac / 150 MWh.

Sunraycer Renewables Signs Agreements with Meta for 240 MWac of Solar Projects in Texas

310 MWdc / 240 MWac Midpoint and Gaia projects will achieve commercial operation in Q4 2025. Under the agreements, Meta will purchase 100% of the Environmental Attributes from Sunraycer's Midpoint Solar project in Hill County and the Gaia Solar project in Navarro County, Texas.
